How do I view the Invoiced Tolls dashboard?

The Invoiced Tolls dashboard provides information regarding the tolls from uploaded toll documents.

Unlike the GPS Tolls dashboard, the Invoiced Tolls dashboard is based on toll statements uploaded by you from the Toll Document Management page. None of the data shown on this dashboard is gathered using the GPS telematics devices onboard your assets.

Controls

Actual_Toll_Cost_Controls

Click the Controls panel and select a time period using the Date from and To fields to display the actual tolling data for that period.

By default, Invoiced Tolls will show the time period for the most recent toll document that has been uploaded.

View Toll Spend by Source

Actual_Toll_Cost_Toll_Spend_Source

The Toll Spend by Source chart displays the total amount of tolls spent for the given time frame, categorized by three types of charges:

  • Tolls show the total dollar amount of both transponder and license plate tolls found.

  • Third Party shows the total amount of fees originating from using a third party to consolidate your tolls.

  • Violations show the total amount spent on violations for the given time frame.

Note: If you have not uploaded any violations to tollogic™ or you are not using a third party to manage your tolls (such as PrePass), you will not see any data for Violations or Third Party.

View Toll by Type

Actual_Toll_Cost_Toll_Type

The Toll by Type chart displays month-by-month tolls charged based on their respective types. It helps you keep track of your total monthly toll spends by type – License Plate Toll, Transponder Toll, and Violations:

  • Transponder Tolls are the tolls charged using a toll device or transponder in your assets.

  • License Plate Tolls (LPTs) are the tolls charged using license plate imaging to identify your assets.

  • Violations are violation charges incurred, typically a result of breaking a particular tolling agency’s rules (e.g. speeding through a toll gantry, missing a payment, no toll device, etc.).

View Middle Ribbon

The middle panel of the screen displays several metrics related to the tolling activities of all your assets based on actual data.

Transponder Tolls

Actual_Toll_Cost_Transponder_Tolls

Transponder Tolls are the tolls charged using a toll device or transponder in your assets.

License Plate Toll

Actual_Toll_Cost_License_Plate_Toll

License Plate Tolls (LPTs) are the tolls charged using license plate imaging to identify your assets.

LPTs will be charged when an asset does not have a registered toll device. If the toll device is low on battery, installed incorrectly, or defective it may not be ready by the toll plaza's reader and result in an LPT. LPTs are almost always charged with a processing fee, typically 25% more than the transponder toll cost.

Total Tolls

Actual_Toll_Cost_Total_Tolls

Total Tolls is the sum of Transponder Tolls and License Plate Tolls.

Violations

Actual_Toll_Cost_Violations

Violations show the count of violation charges incurred. Violations can result from breaking a particular tolling agency’s rules such as speeding through a toll gantry, missing a payment, no toll device, etc.

Total Violation Expenses

Actual_Toll_Cost_Total_Violation_Expense

Total Violation Expenses show the total dollar amount of violation charges incurred.

Note: If you have not uploaded any violations to tollogic™, Violations and Total Violation Expenses will not be populated with data.
